The Shining provides metal polishing for aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, brass, bronze, copper, nickel and silver, etc., occasionally doing surface repairs on antique items, and all manner of memorabilia.
I specialize in classic motorcycle and automobile parts. I have a special place in my heart (and against my buffing wheel) for old motorcycle parts, as my whole life has been spent in and around the motorcycle business. Nothing feels better than handing someone back their engine side-covers for a Norton, BSA, Triumph, Ducati or any other bike, that looked rather sad the last time the owner had seen them, and seeing the smile on their face looking at their gleaming parts.
For classic autos I polish and "de-ding" interior and exterior stainless steel and aluminum trim and polish any other aluminum or stainless steel parts on the car. Except for very large items like bumpers.....being one man I cannot handle a piece that cumbersome.
I like what I do for a living! I install smiles and "bling"!
I also have a rather large blasting cabinet in which I do glass-bead and walnut-shell blasting.
